Weddings & Elopements

“We cannot imagine our wedding without the exceptional work and efforts of Elycia!

Her aesthetic eye and sustainable methods ensured that our day was both beautiful and environmentally conscious. Elycia took the time to understand the spirit of our event and only used flowers that were in season and locally sourced.

Among the flowers she used bundles of lavender and sage, which added a wonderful aroma in combination with the visual appeal.

Elycia really comes full circle in her sustainable approach – she offers preservation services so that you can continue to enjoy the memories long after the day of. She created several beautiful pieces for us from our event flowers, and they are on prominent display in our home!

We cannot recommend Elycia more. She is one of the sweetest souls we met during our whole wedding planning process and truly one of a kind!”

Options for Inspiration

There are so many options to consider when deciding how you would like to incorporate flowers into your wedding. I’ve listed many of them below to help you think about your desires and priorities when it comes to your celebration.

Personal Flower Accessories

This category includes: bridal bouquets, bridesmaids bouquets, a bouquet for tossing, and mini bouquets for honored guests. I also love creating flower crowns, corsages, flower girl baskets, and boutonnieres.

Installations

Ceremony installations add a unique space for gathering and photographs. Some of my favorite installations to design are arches and arbors. I can also create custom flower installations for churches and other wedding venues. Including altar and pew arrangements, chuppah installation, shepherds hooks, pillars, chalk boards, and easels.

I can also bring your reception space to life with table centerpieces, cake flowers, garlands, candles, large installations, and more.

A Note on Pricing

Prices vary depending upon the size, types of flowers incorporated, and containers used. In general, full, lush designs require a high stem count with a wide variety of blooms, equating to higher costs. Open, airy designs are created with less blooms and more greenery, equating to lower costs. Also keep in mind wedding party size, number of guests, and access to venue.

The price is based on the flowers incorporated and the size of the design. Whether you wish to spend a dollar amount or know exactly what flowers you want to use, I will work with you to create a floral plan that meets your budget and style.

Seasonal Elopement & Small Gatherings

The Seasonal Design Experience is created with fresh flowers from local gardens, farms, and foraged blooms. For these designs, I contact local growers to supply me with seasonal bounty for your day. Each design is approached as a creative or artistic expression, also known as designer’s choice. This is a very exciting flower option that produces some of my most sought-after designs. It is also incredibly stress-free as it allows you to pass over creative freedom to me so that I can take care of making the best horticultural choices on your behalf. Clients who choose this option should be prepared to work in a wide range of color options and flower varieties. It is advisable to pick a neutral color for your bridesmaids dresses and reception decor so that they compliment a wide range of floral colors. This option is the perfect choice for elopements and small weddings in outdoor settings that aim to highlight the beauty of the natural landscape.

Bouquet Preservation

The day is over, the people have gone, but the memory can last forever. At Wild Blossoms Studio Elycia makes that memory tangible by preserving your flowers. Her signature process involves turning pressed flowers into a one-of-a-kind art piece that complements your style. Alternatively, most arrangements can be worked into a beautiful dried wreath. We will preserve bouquets from all US distances, send us the flowers and we’ll do the rest!
